Edna Augusta joined the Ferkauf staff in December 2008. She is a graduate of New York University (BA ’05-history; MA ’08-museum studies). She previously worked with the New York University Opportunities Programs (which includes Higher Education Opportunities Programs and Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program) for undergraduate students.

During graduate study, her research focused on looking at representations of Atlantic slavery in American museums and other historical institutions. She has also previously interned at Museum of the City of New York, New-York Historical Society and Fraunces Tavern Museum.
