You are to write an original research paper (ca. 2000 words) in which you explore and evaluate a variety of critical viewpoints on one of the Tales and its links.
Format: The submitted paper must be typed, double-spaced on 8 1/2 x 11" paper. Margins should be approximately 1" on all sides. A cover sheet, done according to suggested MLA guidelines, should precede the paper. The pages of the paper should be fastened with a single staple in the top left-hand corner. Do not put the paper in a folder or plastic cover. Include all drafts and research materials in an accompanying envelope. Documentation: You may use either MLA or Chicago (footnote) documentation style.
