Yeshiva University's primary typeface is Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk. It is used for the logotype and to format text in all design materials. Yeshiva University's secondary typeface is Times New Roman.

Only the weights shown on pp. 2–7 of the Branding Guidelines (PDF) may be used.
You must use Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk if you are producing print publications for Yeshiva University.

Windows XP users can download font installation guidelines (PDF). The University does not support other operating systems.
Times New Roman or a close relative (Times or Times Roman) is preloaded on nearly all computers running the Apple Macintosh or Microsoft Windows operating system.
Documents designed for University-wide or campuswide distribution must use the official primary and secondary typefaces.
However, you do not need to use Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk for internal, office-level documents. Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows users may substitute Helvetica, and Linux users may substitute FreeSans.
Linux users may substitute Linux Libertine for Times New Roman or Times for internal, office-level documents.
