  • Torah Tours: Spreading the Yom Tov Spirit

Now in its third decade, the Aaron and Blanche Schreiber Torah Tours of CJF shares the Torah knowledge and enthusiasm of Yeshiva University and Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) students and alumni with Jewish communities throughout the world. During the holiday celebrations of Simchat Torah and Shavuot, teams of four to six young men and women visit communities across the United States, Canada and Europe to teach Torah classes, lead singing and dancing, meet with synagogue youth and create a fun and spirited yom tov experience.

We are delighted to once again offer Torah Tours to your community.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions.

    To Apply
    • Please visit Torah Tours and complete an application.
    • All applications received after the deadline will be put on a waiting list.
    • Application processing is contingent upon receipt of a $150 registration fee.

Please make checks or money orders payable to Yeshiva University and mail to:

    Aliza Abrams

Please note that there are a limited number of Torah Tours requests that we can fill each year, so get your requests in early. While we try to service as many synagogues as possible, no synagogue is guaranteed a group of students until we know how many students have signed up to participate. All synagogues will be contacted by September 15 with information about whether or not they will be receiving a group.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 212.960.5400 ext. 6751 or at torahtours@yu.edu.
