Research Associate and Coordinator
Yitzchak Schwartz is a graduate student at the Bard Graduate Center for Decorative Arts, Design History and Material Culture and the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies of Yeshiva University, focusing on Jewish art and cultural history. Yitzchak coordinates the CIS' research initiatives and public programming, and is research associate for the exhibition "The Samaritans: A Biblical People," which opens at the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA) in Manhattan in 2014, and will explore Samaritan religion, history, culture and relationships with the West.
Intern
Jesse Abelman has worked as a research assistant on book projects for Dr. Fine and the CIS. He is a doctoral student in medieval Jewish history at the Bernard Revel Graduate School for Jewish Studies. Abelman also teaches at the Drisha Institute for Jewish Studies.
