Our Visiting Scholars Program enables a leading scholar, researcher or practitioner to spend a week meeting with and speaking to faculty and students. The program was conceived with the belief that exposure to individuals who have set some of the standards in the study and practice of Jewish education.
The inaugural visiting scholars were Michael Rosenak, emeritus professor of the philosophy of Jewish education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Howard Deitcher, director of the Melton Centre for Jewish Education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and Sharon-Feiman Nemser, Mandel Professor of Jewish Education and director of the Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education at Brandeis University.
