General Support Details
ITS/Academic Computing provides a stable and reliable environment for academic instructional programs and administrative departments in multimedia enhanced rooms. This support is limited to computer-related multimedia events or video conferencing.
General Support Provided
Support media equipment in multimedia enhanced rooms: this includes regular diagnostic checks and maintenance routines when the rooms are not in use.
Provide any necessary setup of media consoles in multimedia enhanced rooms: this means connecting cables and equipment, booting up the power, and confirmation of the operational integrity of the console and projector.
Open/close multimedia consoles in multimedia enhanced rooms for immediate use by professors. If there is an unscheduled need for this service or any emergency situation, there is a special Multimedia Hotline for each campus: Wilf (917) 670-1311; Beren(917) 670-1312, Cardozo (212) 790-0220, Einstein (646) 678-052
Provide emergency on-site service. This too will be expedited by faculty calling the Multimedia Hotline.

Procedures and Phone Numbers
Please let us know as soon as possible, as elaborated below, if you will require this support in the next semester. We need to be informed as early as feasible in the planning process, so we can assist and advise before commitments are made by the Registrar. Note that faculty considering use of multimedia services should request rooms with the appropriate equipment.
You should make reservations with Academic Computing for the regular setup of equipment before the start of the semester. This is particularly important because many times several requests fall at the same time and staff must be appropriately scheduled.
Additionally, if you have only a special session with a multimedia requirement, please let us know at least a week in advance.
In either case, complete our online multimedia request form for the best support on your campus. Resnick | Manhattan
