YU CareerLink is your comprehensive career planning tool. It allows Yeshiva students to do the following:

    • View and apply to job listings for full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities. All undergraduate students and alumni from YC, SSSB and SCW can submit resumes, cover letters, and other job search documents directly to employers
    • Manage on-campus recruitment activities and schedules (predominantly seniors throughout the academic year and juniors in the spring)
    • Submit resumes to resume books which can be sent to employers (see below for details)
    • View and register for CDC events and workshops
    • Access Career Insider powered by Vault, a career research library with information and guides to industries, occupations, and many career-related topics

Once you log in, there are detailed video instructions on how to use the system indicated by this icon: View Video Tutorial for This Page. To get started, view these tutorials:

Basic tips on how to use YU CareerLink
    • Current students: You should have received an email from the CDC to your YU email account containing your username (which is your YU email address including @yu.edu) and your randomly assigned password. You will be able to reset your password once you are in the YU CareerLink system. If you no longer have this email, please contact the CDC for a new password.
    • Alumni: Contact the CDC for more information on accessing your account.
    Getting Started

    • Click the link above to log in.
    • Enter your username (your YU email address including @yu.edu) and password.
    • When you enter the site you will be prompted to complete your User Profile and upload your resume. You may then search for jobs by clicking the ''Jobs'' tab, whether or not you upload a resume.
    Searching and Applying for Jobs

    • On the tabs above the homepage, click ''Jobs'' (Notice there are ''YU CareerLink Jobs'' and ''NACELINK Network.'' YU CareerLink jobs are specifically posted for YU students, but you can search both for opportunities.)
    • Once you have found a job you are interested in, click on the job title.
    • If you wish to apply, follow the instructions under "Application Status" on the right hand side of the screen. Some companies will allow you to apply directly through the YU CareerLink system, while others will prefer that you apply via email, fax, or the organization's website. In order to apply through YU CareerLink, you need to upload a resume and have it subsequently approved by the CDC (click "Add new" if you don't already have one in the system).
    • Choose the resume, cover letter, and/or any other requested documents that are appropriate for the application and click ''Submit.'' (Note: If a cover letter is not required, just cut and paste into the Notes text box.) Your application will be sent directly to the employer.
    Resume Books

Resume Books are listed under the "Documents" tab on YU CareerLink. They allow the CDC to send your resume to employers on your behalf. Submit your resume to the appropriate book(s) based on the semester and industry of your choice (e.g. ''Spring 2011 Finance Internship Book''). Please note that you still must apply directly to posted positions of interest. Resume books are ONLY sent to a select number of employers.
